Topic: Applied digital risk in the network and data protection revolution
Over the last eight months, organisations across Australia have been challenged to not just accelerate digital transformation, but fundamentally re-evaluate their approach to business collaboration. Networks, systems and applications continue to transform to cater for the changing business reality and cyber security is no exception to this. Organisations are running two and even three speed cybersecurity settings, with legacy systems and processes conflicting with the newer more cloud based environments. Decisions made today about how security tools, patterns and channels are designed and used will have significant downstream effects. Amplifying this are new government regulations for data and system protection flowing out of the Australian Cyber Security Strategy 2020.
We invite you to join our next Branch meeting on 6th November at QT Perth where we will explore the challenges, techniques and considerations organisations and CISOs should examine in this new environment, to not just reduce risk and rework over-the-horizon, but to prepare for a more regulated setting.
Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and networking refreshments will be served at the end of the presentation.
