Our usual end of year event for AISA Brisbane includes short updates from various infosec professionals from Brisbane, as well as festive food and extra time for networking. Join us to celebrate the successes of the year , enjoy good company and listen to updates from respected members of our community.

SPEAKERS:
Tim  Hamer has proudly been a team member at AusCERT for a number of years, and started his career in software development before making the jump to security. He spends an inordinate amount of time pestering web hosts and cloud providers about their dodgy customers, and enjoys collecting and dissecting phishing kits wherever he can find them

Nicole Murdoch is founding director of Eaglegate Law, has degrees in Law (1st Class Honours) and Electrical Engineering, holds a Masters of Industrial Property and is a registered Australian Trade Marks Attorney.Before entering the law she worked in the IT industry for 10 years.

Kristine Sihto is a writer who is currently working with Alcorn Security Group. She has been a frequent contributor to the Australian Women in Security Network (AWSN) blog in 2018, and an active participant in a number of Information Security initiatives. Kristine has recently completed a lifelong dream of publishing a collection of her poetry. Her talk will discuss her engagement with the Information Security community this year and how she has leveraged her creative skills in the process.
