Topic 2: CEOs, you’re in denial on cybersecurity
Only 6 per cent of chief executives responding to a survey said that their organisations had suffered a data breach in the last year. Gergana will present the findings from speaking with 88 CEOs and 54 chief information security officers (CISO) across the private and public sector.
"There’s definitely a lack of communication between the two. One-third [of CEOs] believe cybersecurity is an IT or operations issue. So they do not see it as a business priority and as a consequence, they don't [include] it as part of their business planning"

Gergana is a passionate advocate and though leader for cyber security and female leadership and has been a key note speaker and panelist in a number of industry related events and leading conferences in the country since 2014.
