Topic: Is your end-of-life data breach proof?
Whether your data is stored in the private cloud, public cloud or at your on-premise data centre, an increasing number of data protection regulations require that you carefully handle personal and sensitive data throughout its lifecycle—including completely destroying data when it reaches end-of-life.
You will learn:
- Regulations requirements for data retention
- The importance of eliminating end-of-life data in the cloud or at your on-premise data centre
- What to consider when eliminating confidential data from either cloud, virtual or physical environments
Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speaker and networking drinks with light refreshments will be served during the event.
Speaker:
Quang Cao serves as regional manager for Blancco in the ANZ region. He started his career with Blancco in Finland, and subsequently moved to Japan and Singapore. He is currently based in Melbourne, Australia.
Quang has worked across industries such as Banking, Finance & Insurance, Data Centres, Government Agencies and Enterprises. He has also set up a strong network of partners within ASEAN, and Australia. His regional experience and understanding of the operational, financial, and cultural nuances of driving global cyber security, and privacy policies enables Quang to advise regional clients on privacy, data protection processes, compliance and information security issues.
