AISA Webinar | Talent Series May & June 2024 | 5 June (Webinar Two)

Hosted by the AISA Cloud Branch, please join us for our third webinar in our 'Talent Series' planned throughout May and June, with our guest speaker Leigh Banach, Principal Consultant & People Solutions Lead at TQSolutions.

Topic: For Employers – Uncovering Hidden Talent Pools, Neurodiverse Hiring in Focus

In a talent short market, especially in technology, where we are looking at a shortfall in Australia of at least 600,000 people by 2030, we need to broaden our view of the talent pools we are recruiting from. Reviewing global research data shows that 20% of the global population is neurodiverse, and the ABS estimates 30%-40% of the Australia population is neurodiverse; how do we attract talent from this area.

This will be a high-level discussion around what alternative talent pools can be tapped into. Focusing on neurodiverse talent in particular, we will discuss what you should consider when developing an inclusive and diverse recruitment process for this talent pool, leaving you with some key tips to take away.
