Topic: Harnessing ITIL 4 for Cyber Security: Strengthening Defences, Enhancing Resilience
ITIL 4, renowned for its robust framework for IT Service Management (ITSM), offers a powerful toolkit for organizations seeking to bolster their cybersecurity posture. This seminar explores the strategic integration of ITIL 4 principles with cybersecurity practices, providing attendees with actionable insights to enhance security, mitigate risks, and ensure business continuity. From incident response to service transition, participants will discover how ITIL 4 methodologies can be tailored to address the unique challenges of cybersecurity, fostering a proactive approach to threat detection, analysis, and remediation. This seminar equips IT professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to leverage ITIL 4 as a catalyst for cybersecurity excellence in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speaker after the presentation at which time light refreshments will be served. 

Speaker:
Prashant Singh is an award winner CISO, CSO30 2023 and WA State Branch Chair of IT Service Management Forum. He works for the WA State Government and also serves as a volunteer on few community boards. He is experienced in Cyber Security operations, Cyber Security Uplift program, and Cyber Security Awareness program delivery, Governance and Risk Management. He has extensive expertise in IT and has worked with numerous organisations to deliver multi-million-dollar programmes, digital transformation, and innovation initiatives. He is a passionate speaker who has spoken at numerous IT & Cyber Security Summits, National and International forums, and universities as a guest lecturer. He recently presided over ITSMF’s State of the Nation session to explore the effects of significant cyber security breaches like those at Optus and Medibank.
