Hosted by the AISA Cloud Branch, please join us for a webinar "When Encryption Isn't Enough: Messaging Apps And The New Security Reality" with guest speaker Jonathan Jackson. This session will delve into why sovereignty, trusted identity, and control over communications data have become critical priorities, and what practical steps organisations can take in response.

Webinar Title: When Encryption Isn't Enough: Messaging Apps And The New Security Reality
Jonathan will share insights from Blackberry's State of Secure Communications 2026 report, exposing critical gaps in encryption literacy and rising exposure across government and critical infrastructure.  As intelligence agencies across the US, UK and Europe warn of attacks targeting messaging apps such as Signal and WhatsApp, this session will explore why sovereignty, identity assurance and control of communications data are now essential, and how organisations can respond.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speaker. The webinar will be recorded and shared with registered AISA members within 7 days post webinar. AISA's Cloud Branch webinar is available exclusively to all AISA members.
