When a crisis strikes, there are many actions organisations should take to minimise the impact on the business. Having a cyber security crisis management plan will help you respond more quickly to cyber attacks, deliver consistent communication to internal and external stakeholders, and take timely remedial actions.

A successful crisis management plan should consider the following:
- Impact on business
- Financial or reputation consequences
- Effect on people – staff, partners, suppliers and customers
- Information, data and technology

Speakers:
Angela Coble – CIO, Johnson & Johnson
Angela Coble is an executive leader, board member and internationally published author, with more than 20 years leadership experience in technology, healthcare, utilities, finance and agriculture. In 2020, Angela was ranked #2 in Australia’s Top 50 CIOs by CIO Magazine – the third time she has made this prestigious list. As the CIO for J&J Medical Devices in Australia & New Zealand, Angela balances her commercial responsibility as an executive Board member with her technology responsibility as the executive leader of the information & technology discipline for the markets. Angela holds qualifications across various domains, including an MBA (Leadership) and a Bachelor of Business (Leadership & Management) from the University of Southern Queensland. She gained her Certification as an Information Security Manager from ISACA and qualified in Information Security Risk Management at the SANS Institute. She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

Cheryl Hayman – Non-Executive Director, Shriro Holdings and HGL
Cheryl Hayman is a Non-Executive Director (NED) on the Boards of Shriro Holdings and HGL as well as the Remuneration & Nominations Committee Chair for both companies. Cheryl was recently appointed to the board of Beston Global Foods. Additionally, she is NED and member of the People and Remuneration Committee for Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand, as well as being on the board of advisors for the Digital Experts Advisory Committee. Cheryl is also a NED for the Darlinghurst Theatre Company and Peer Support Australia, in the not-for-profit sector. Prior to entering the Boardroom, Cheryl was a C-Suite marketing director who led large teams locally and overseas to achieve significant growth and develop innovative new products with global food and consumer retail companies, George Weston Foods, Yum! Restaurants and Unilever. These experiences gave her a whole-of-business leadership and responsibility. Outside of the boardroom, she is also a passionate mentor, having provided mentoring for over 20 years, formally and informally, particularly to professional corporate and entrepreneurial women as a mentor for Mentor Walks, Women on Boards, Her Business and The Marketing Academy.

John Taylor – CIO, MedHealth Group
John is a transformational executive leader who's experience has been gained via working with market leading companies across the globe, creating value and reducing costs. MBA qualified with the business acumen required to produce strategic value, review operations and identify opportunities for improvement and is supported by the technical skills to develop cost-effective solutions. The ability to relate well at any level of an organisation has been pivotal to success in managing effective business relationships. Internationally experienced (across the America’s, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia) with a good understanding of differing business cultures. A well-respected leader who motivates both self and others to deliver excellence within a culture of continuous improvement.
