Hosted by the AISA QLD Branch, please join us for a face-to-face meeting and networking opportunity with a live and interactive presentation and discussion on addressing Cyber Security risk in Operational Technology with guest speaker Peter Clissold, Senior Cyber Security Consultant and Manager.

Topic: 10 things (maybe less, maybe more) that you should know about addressing cyber security risk in Operational Technology.
This session will be an overview of key considerations when addressing cyber security risk in Operational Technology and Critical Infrastructure. Peter Clissold, an engineer with experience across various industries and recent involvement in securing critical infrastructure, has faced real-world challenges. Despite not always getting it right, he insists he was never wrong!

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers and light lunch will be served before the presentation.


Speaker:

Peter Clissold, Senior Cyber Security Consultant / Manager BE(Elec)(Hons) – Electronics and Communications, ISA/IEC62443 Cybersecurity Expert, TUV FSE, CISSP, Membership: ISA, IOTAA
Peter is an experienced professional with over twenty-eight years of working with Industrial Automation, SCADA, Process Control, Information Systems, Industrial network design and deployment. Peter is passionate about helping owners and operators of critical infrastructure to improve the security of their operational assets through a unique combination of skills, including assessing functional safety risks, cyber security management, design and implementation, and industrial automation and process control design. Peter has worked across many industries, including the water, energy, and transport sectors, and has worked closely with organisations to identify weaknesses in their automation strategies, including cyber security threats and helped those organisations provide a more secure, robust operational environment helping them to achieve their own mission and continue to provide essential services to their customers.
