Topic: For Employers - Recruitment and Hiring Upskilling
This webinar will explore how employers can adapt their recruitment and hiring practices for a rapidly changing job market. The session will highlight the challenges of skills gaps, talent shortages, and technological advancements. Upskilling your existing workforce presented as a key solution, with benefits like increased productivity, improved employee engagement, and reduced recruitment costs.

The focus will then shift to upskilling for recruitment itself.  How to identify future skill needs, assess existing employee skills, and embrace skills-based hiring that prioritizes actual competencies. Next, upskilling for hiring. Tips include tailoring job descriptions, highlighting your company's commitment to upskilling, and incorporating skills-based assessments into the interview process.

Finally, the importance of interviewers upskilling their recruitment skills is emphasized. Reasons include staying ahead of the evolving job landscape, facilitating skills-based hiring, and creating a positive candidate experience that leads to faster identification of qualified hires.

Speaker: 

Ainsely Bainger, Principal Consultant at TQSolutions. Ainsley brings over 20 years of TA, HR and OD Experience to TQ’s clients. Prior to joining TQ, Ainsley worked for Australia Post, implementing several business change activities. Ainsley joined the TQ team in 2018, working across both Solutions and Project Consulting. Bringing with her, extensive experience in being able to understand and evaluate client’s current states. Notable projects include designing and delivering a number of Leadership Develop programs, with a strong focus on performance, hiring manager uplift and creating strong cultures.
