Topic: Elevate Your Cyber Security Game: Protecting Your Organisation and Your Reputation
In the Emerging Threats and Legal Challenges horizon, we will present an overview of cyber security legal frameworks in selected countries: Australia, Saudi Arabia, EU, Latin America, and USA.
Betania will draw comparisons of incident response powers and government involvement given he experience in different regions.  We plan to address the implications for multinational organizations in the topics of:

  • Board and Executive Accountability
  • Risk Management and Governance
  • Emerging Threats and Legal Challenges


Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speaker. The webinar will be recorded and shared with AISA members who are registered for the webinar within 7 days post webinar. 


Speaker: 

Betania Allo is a cyber lawyer, policy expert and thought leader, who brings over a decade of experience in governance and public policy, executive roles in the private sector, and entrepreneurial ventures.
Her consultancy work excels in areas of cyber security, data privacy, compliance, and counter-terrorism, after several previous roles at the United Nations specialising in technological solutions for criminal investigations and digital platform protection.
She was one of the Top 25 Cyber Security Stars of 2023 and 40 under 40.
Betania is an Argentine lawyer who studied at Syracuse University New York, with a Master's from Harvard University in International Relations and Security. She's now pursuing a Doctor of Engineering in Cybersecurity Analytics at George Washington University. Betania lectures at universities and regularly presents at cyber security, counter-terrorism, emerging technology, and leadership conferences.
