AISA and IoTSI forge alliance

AISA members will save money on a SCCISP certification and enjoy other benefits after an alliance was formed with the IoT Security Institute.

The security and safety of the Internet of Things was of considerable and rising concern so the collaboration was timely and important, AISA operations manager Megan Spielvogel said.

“AISA is very pleased with this memorandum of understanding as it will help our members to advance their professional development through IoTSI’s SCCISP certification, knowledge base, and research material,” Ms Spielvogel said.

“Plus, we will work together to promote IoT security and raise awareness of the issues, both established and emerging.”

IoTSI president Alan MIhalic said the two organisations would co-operate in the fields of cyber security within emerging smart technology eco-systems, cyber educational services, and collaborative advisory engagements within the public and private sectors.

“AISA is a recognised authority on information security in Australia with a membership of over 7000 individuals and corporate partners across the country,” Mr MIhalic said.

“The opportunity to partner with AISA on an array of smart cyber initiatives will certainly be a great step forward in developing and encouraging the conversation on Smart Cyber challenges and opportunities.”
