Exploring Today’s Top Cyber Threats in the Top End
A gathering of leading local and interstate cyber security experts will join business groups, cyber and information security practitioners and students at the Territory’s largest cyber conference ‘DarwinSEC’, to be held at the Hilton Darwin 21 September 2022.
Cybercrime is a pressing issue for all Australians, including those in the top end, with incidents increasing 13 per cent in the past year. Due to COVID-19 many Australians have been forced to work from home - with one cyber incident reported to the Centre every eight minutes (ACSC Annual Cyber Threat Report 2020-21 ).
Hosted by the Australian Information Security Association (AISA), DarwinSEC will discuss the Territory’s preparedness to deal with current cyber threats and how to best protect company operations and information - as well as how to attract, grow and retain cyber talent.

AISA continues to collaborate with the Northern Territory Government’s cyber initiatives by recently supporting their partnership with the Australian Cyber Security Centre to establish the Darwin Joint Cyber Security Outreach Service.
AISA’s DarwinSEC Conference 2022 is a must attend event on the Northern Territory’s information technology and cyber security calendar.
