AISA ACT Branch Meeting | 18 June 2026

AISA Branch Meeting
Hosted by the AISA ACT Branch, this meeting offers members the chance to connect with fellow professionals, build valuable new professional relationships, and broaden your expertise in an engaging environment. The evening will open with a presentation from Peter Baussmann from Airlock Digital where he will examine a wave of unvetted, rapidly produced AI applications which are overwhelming organisations and exposing the weaknesses of traditional detection‑focused security frameworks.

Session Title:
Defining Trust in an AI World: Controlling What Runs on Your Endpoints
In this highly timely talk, Peter will examine how AI is flooding organisations with untrusted, rapidly generated applications, overwhelming traditional detection-based security models. He’ll cover how in this environment of “infinite noise,” the only sustainable approach is to return to first principles, shifting from reactive defence to a deny-by-default model that defines trust before execution. The session will show how modern allowlisting enables organisations to regain control of the endpoint, reducing risk while still enabling AI-driven productivity.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speaker and networking drinks with light refreshments will be served after the presentation.
